A kinetic sculpture activated by air currents, this work evolves from my earlier striped wall pieces. Delicate and suspended from the ceiling, it gracefully fills tall spaces with constant motion. Even the slightest breeze sets it into a near-continuous dance, generating ever-changing color interactions and mesmerizing interference patterns.
An ultra-lightweight piece, weighing under 700 grams, easily suspended from a small eye screw mounted on the ceiling.
The work comes carefully packaged, fully assembled, and ready to hang.
Materials:
High-quality, acid-free card stock tubes, reinforced with an extra card stock layer inside. Stainless stell wire. Polyester braid and thread.
The work has a very long life, provided that is placed inside a room with low humidity and no extreme temperature differences (like any other artwork).
