Blue attitude

This unique blue illusion painting is meticulously painted on a plywood cutout to reveal depth and perspective—even though it is flat. However, after careful inspection, you can realise that the light and shadows are intentionally unrealistic to exaggerate the 3D effect.

The progressively nested squares create a hypnotic gradient effect that draws the viewer’s eye inward.

Thanks to the back wood beam grooves, you can hang this unique blue illusion painting from two nails on the wall.

The work is made in Denmark and shipped within 5 days by artist George Koutsouris. Carefully packaged in a strong cardboard box. Signed on both the front and back.

Materials: Acrylic on canvas, glued on plywood construction which offsets the work beautifully 2.5 cm from the wall. The work has been coated with satin archival varnish that protects from UV, dust and scratches.
